Chris LaCour

Chris LaCour is a Partner, seasoned litigator, and twenty-year Army veteran who
represents sick people against the companies who made them sick. He began his
military career as an artillery officer before becoming a Judge Advocate (military
lawyer), deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan, and advised senior military
commanders across the globe. Whether leading a platoon in combat or representing the
Army in high-stakes litigation, Chris has always been driven by a sense of duty—to his
country, his team, and now, to his clients.

Before joining Just Well Law, Chris served as lead counsel in complex litigation for the
U.S. Army , from defending Soldiers across Europe, Asia, and Hawaii to managing all
personal injury litigation nationwide against the Army while stationed at the Pentagon.
As a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Dept. of Justice and senior complex litigator
at USAA, a Fortune 100 company, he’s handled cases of national significance with skill
and resolve. Now, Chris draws on this unique background to help individuals and
families pursue justice with strength and precision.

Chris earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his law
degree from the University of Colorado. He holds a Master of Laws in Military Law from
The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School and is a graduate of the
Army’s Command and General Staff College. He is licensed in Texas and Colorado and
is proud to be part of a firm that shares his belief in the power of justice to restore
client’s health and dignity.
