James Baehr
James Baehr is a trial lawyer and Veterans’ advocate who has spent his career fighting for servicemembers and their families. As a Marine Corps Judge Advocate General, Baehr represented over 200 servicemembers in court-martial proceedings, presentencing trials, and administrative boards. After active duty, Baehr served as a federal prosecutor at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Orleans, prosecuting over 100 defendants for felony level violations in the Eastern District of Louisiana. A Major in the Reserves, Baehr deployed to Iraq for Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve in 2018. Thereafter, he served in the White House as a Special Assistant to the President, working as the President’s lead adviser on Veterans’ and servicemember policy, including toxic exposure benefits issues. Today, he fights for servicemembers and their families in courts around the country.
